The Endoplasmic Reticulum made easy to understand!
The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) snakes throughout the cell making and transporting proteins, lipids and the cell membrane itself. Give your students an insight into how it works with our colourful model.
The model shows both rough ER and smooth ER. It also shows how proteins are transported and modified as they move through the ER and eventually leave in transport vesicles. You can also use the model to explain the ER's role in disease.
