Teach the structure of skeletal muscle with our easy to make model

Skeletal muscle is adapted to allow our bodies to move. It is made of muscle fibres that are enclosed in several layers of connective tissue. These work together to generate the force that enables us to move. Our model shows the different parts that make skeletal muscle and how they are organised.

Buy once, print forever!

First, your students make models out of the colourful parts. Then, they use these to make a model of a cross section of a skeletal muscle. They can slide out the different parts to see how they relate to each other.

The model covers: muscle cells (muscle fibres), myofibrils, fascicles and connective tissue layers (epimysium, perimysium and endomysium).
