A new way to show comparative anatomy of the heart!
Engage your students with our innovative model of a frog's heart. It includes valves that open and close! Great to compare and contrast with our human heart model.
Download and print as many times as you want - forever at no extra cost!
Students make their frog heart using the colourful parts working alone or in small groups. They use their model to identify the parts of the heart including the ventricle, auricles, truncus arteriosus and sinus venosus. Then they look at how blood flows through the heart and how oxygenated and deoxygenated blood are kept apart in the single ventricle.
It can be printed in colour, or in mono on coloured or white paper.
Includes full colour Powerpoint class presentation!
Takes about 20 minutes to make the model.
