With this innovative model your students can follow the electron transport steps in the light reactions of photosynthesis by moving model electrons and electron carriers. The set covers non-cyclic photophosphorylation, the Z scheme, shows how NADPH is made, how the proton gradient for ATP synthesis is made, looks at the structures of the photosystems and can be used to teach cyclic photophosphorylation.
You can also link the model to our ATP Synthase and Cool Chloroplasts models. It is also great to compare and contrast with our model of the Electron Transport Chain.
